The Dartmoor Book Fair takes place twice a year in the beautiful surroundings of the Tavistock Town Hall and is organized by the PBFA.
The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association was founded in 1974 with just 20 members. Its primary aim was to provide provincial bookdealers with a shop window in London by holding regular book fairs. Nearly 40 years later it has over 500 members and regularly organises more than 80 antiquarian and secondhand book fairs a year.
The PBFA's huge variety of fairs throughout the UK (together with the annual Dublin fair) are all listed in the 2013 PBFA Calendar of Book Fairs, available from our fairs, members' shops, and the PBFA office.
Members of the PBFA are experienced and reputable booksellers, with a wealth of knowledge covering almost every area of antiquarian and secondhand bookselling and collecting. For a detailed list of members, please consult the Dealer Directory.
