The shop will close at 3.00pm on Christmas Eve and re-open on Friday 28th, then closed on Tuesday 1/1/08, otherwise it is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30-5.00.

As well as a large quantity of books, I also have several Devon maps including Saxton/Kip, Blaeu, Speed and Morden from the seventeenth century, a nice couple of Mercator/Hondius/Janson Spanish maps, some Owen and Bowen Welsh maps, and numerous others.
I've made several changes to this website, including a new section of Devon material, and a page devoted to old stock at new, reduced prices to make room on the shelves and help with cashflow!
Ian Robertson's book "RICHARD FORD, 1796-1858; HISPANOPHILE, CONNOISSEUR AND CRITIC", is in stock now. This long-awaited authorised biography runs to 381 pages, illustrated in black and white, bound in red cloth in dustwrapper, is priced at twenty-eight pounds plus postage and can be ordered over the phone or internet - just have your credit or debit card handy.
I am exhibiting at quite a few interesting book fairs in 2007 - have a look at the list, and I look forward to seeing you there. Let me know if you'd like me to bring anything specifically for you to look at.
