FIVE PRINTS FROM:- WINDSOR, WITH ITS SURROUNDING SCENERY, THE PARKS THE THAMES ETON COLLEGE ETC. After J. B. Pyne. No date, circa 1839, published by Thomas Maclean, Ackerman & Co. and J. B. Browne, 5 hand coloured tinted lithographs by Ducote from the set of 13, image size 450mm x 300mm, framed and glazed. Abbey; Scenery, 358. The five prints we have are Windsor Castle and Long Walk; Windsor Castle from the Thames (featuring the frozen river with skaters, sledges etc); Windsor New Bridge (featuring lots of commercial activity on the river); Fishing Temple Virginia Water; Windsor Castle from the Eton Playground. All five prints are in very good condition in modern gilt frames with wash line mounts.£950.00

DEVONSHIRE WITH EXCESTER DESCRIBED AND THE ARMES OF SUCH NOBLES AS HAVE BORNE THE TITLES OF THEM. Hand-coloured engraved map after John Speed, 1676, sixth state, published by Thomas Bassett and Richard Chiswell, in St. Pauls Churchyard, London, 500mm by 370mm, framed and double-glazed, English text on verso. Some restoration work skilfully carried out, otherwise an unusually good clean example with fresh, probably later colouring. [See Bennett and Batten 6.6]. £750.00
